All our courses and workshops are conducted by registered and professional art therapists. Our art therapists are also MOE registered instructors who can facilitate art therapy based training and workshops for students and teachers at MOE schools. They have extensive experience in conducting both personal therapy sessions as well as short courses and workshops for larger groups. These courses and workshops include hands-on art experiential that utilize various visual art media and art materials as a therapeutic tool. No experience in fine arts, visual arts or any interest in art (for that matter) is required to benefit from these courses and workshops.

The art therapy practice in Singapore has been developed over a decade ago. Many have approached us asking about the requirements of becoming an art therapist. If you are looking to become an art therapist, you would need to have completed a master's programme in Art Therapy with supervised clinical training. In Singapore, LASALLE College of the Arts offers an MA Art Therapy programme. Check out the admission requirements and the programme details here. Graduating from this programme will qualify you to attain a professional membership as an art therapist with an art therapy board such as Art Therapists Association, Singapore to practice as an art therapist in Singapore. There are also international art therapy organisations to learn from, such as ANZACATA

SUSS offers a Graduate Diploma in Expressive Art Therapy in Singapore. Art therapy is a profession and it is not a modality. Hence, mental health professionals such as clinical psychologists or counselors will not be able to attend this programme to practice art therapy during the clinical sessions.
